These can grow several feet a year, and it's important to note that how close you plant them will dictate their max growth height.

If planting in rows, you probably want them at least 5 feet apart, and they will reach 20' tall. 8 feet apart will get you 25-30' in height.

These are super low maintenance plants. Water them for a couple weeks when you first plant them and maybe add some fertilizer like Root Rocket, but otherwise they just do their thing. No trimming or anything should be required.
Yeah, there's a guaranteed method that works: cut off the top when it gets taller than 8-10 ft!
Probably not toxic to deer. Those a-holes will eat almost anything.

I think so. The foliage is semi-floppy. If you pet the outside of the tree with the side of your arm, it wouldn't hurt at all or scratch you.
