Elac s are the best, get debut series for thanksgiving you wont regret, jbl sound stage and imaging isn't that great, don't get me wrong they are good but mainstream sound that wont get you excited, I tried Polk audio(muffled most part), sony( don't get me started) , klipsch(ear fatigue, as if you are dragging iron plate on road but elac nailed it with sweet sounding speakers! They go on sale atleast 4-5 times a year
Harman infinity reference FTW.

Shall I use this speaker as surround speaker?

Can I use them as my rear surround speakers ?
Can/shall yes you can. Is it an ideal/good idea, it depends.
Any seating position that ears do not have a line of sight to the woofers/tweeter will have the sound blocked, not ideal.

I can't speak for the JBL stage but the JBL Studios, which also go on sale routinely, have excellent sound stage and imaging. They also aren't a boring analytical sounding speaker either. You have to spend serious money ($1k+ a speaker) to get a significantly better sound than the JBL studios, but at those price points everything is about house sound preferences not greater accuracy.

If you are smack talking I am pretty sure these are worth $200. It is a good deal.

If you literally meant the shipping charges are more than $200, they are not. Not sure what Harman has negotiated but it might be very low. Retail counter rates for a pair might actually be $125-200, Harman could be paying 10-25% of that so maybe $25-50 bucks for a pair. Could even be less as some high volume contracts are really bizarre.

I don't know what you're talking about. I have the Stage 170 and the soundstage is massive.
