While I didn't see this one in store Best Buy had the physical version of Trek To Yomi for Playstation 4 for $14.99 on their website. Unfortunately it is sold out online but may be available in store for the same price. Gamestop also has the same price on this game in store and online.

Grabbed Deal Cells.
When I got there the switch games were almost bare. Saw some employee taking away most of the PS5 games onto a cart. Cart had 100+ games on it. So found it there.
Asked him for price and he scanned and said $45. Luckily didn't think he was right and brought it up to register and got it for the $19

What segment of the entertainment industry isn't trying to capitalize on FOMO? Especially in the video game landscape it's everywhere and always has been. One can argue that if you aren't doing it then you are doing it wrong. As long as their is nothing inherently scummy about it I don't see the problem. No one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to buy their stuff. I had no problem disregarding and ignoring 99% of the stuff they've offered. I've gotten a total of 3 games from them for Switch and that's it, and outside of it taking longer than it should have to get the ball rolling on DOOM Eternal I don't really have any complaints. I mean if there was one other thing to take issue with that I can think of offhand it's that sometimes they will occasionally re-print stuff they already did in the past and then make what you can regard as a newer better version, so then I could see someone having a bit of buyer's remorse due to it and being like "Well now I wish I hadn't bought the old one".

As far as scalping goes, a lot of different things can and have been subjected to it, whether video games, consoles, video cards, Raspberry Pis, etc. We can't just single out Limited Run Games and not hold others equally to task. And for what it's worth they mostly have a completely open pre-order period typically lasting about a month where anyone can order something they may want without concern of it selling out, which is more than you have been able to say for the latest hottest things from Nintendo, Sony, or Nvidia for example. There's only so much that can be done about it.

My best buy in Aurora IL had many meat boyforevers and dead cells on sale, castlevania dead cells wasn't on the floor but they had in the cage for $18

Also got tony hawk for free as that's about $15 and I have the $50/year best buy thing
