And Walmart has the Hyper Tough for $10.97

The geometry on this seems…off to me. I've had and restored a few small hatchets and found them pretty useful when it comes to making some kindling, splitting small logs/pieces, and a few other light tasks.

This on the other hand seems like it wouldn't do a whole lot well. I suppose I can get one and test it out, but that blade/wedge angle is all wrong to me.

Also for those thinking a small hatchet is what they need over a small axe (let's say you only have one) I'd pick a small axe 100/100 times. You can do everything a hatchet can do and you can also take down small trees, limbs, etc.

Now if you already have a small axe, this may be useful to you. But I have my doubts.
"Overstock sale" yet shipping is "1-2 months" so clearly waiting for stock to be replenished aka not overstocked?

Note, not saying this is a bad deal (or good one) however this echoes like the mattress stores that have been going out of business since someone named Bush was president.

These are great and most importantly fit in a backpack. You would not believe the funny looks I get when I carry a full size axe around in the city at night!

I need a quick weapon to take down mice in traps. I've tried golf clubs, end of baseball bat. I'm guessing a hatchet would be more messy

What program? Fed to cat? You do know that most cats don't eat mice anymore, right?
