Excellent deal on the 15" MacBook Air! This laptop only came out ~3 months ago and matches the (effective) price of buying form Apple (w/ Edu discount to $1199 - $150 Apple Gift Card), except you can just save the money instead if you're not interested in an Apple Gift Card. And of course 5% cashback if you have an Amazon Prime Visa too, so another $52.50 back in that case! It's a great machine that will satisfy 95% of customers' needs with more screen real estate.

That's a big discount. 8GB RAM only is disappointing, but if you're just doing things in the browser (like most people) then you should be fine.

surprised more people aren't talking about this, seems like a deal. my nightmare though is with the m3 macbooks coming out in a few months that they will finally bump the base ram to 12gb
