In your sump pit have the primary at the bottom, have the secondary next to it but higher so it won't turn on if the first one is working, you can have some govee or similar water detectors as well so you get alerted if the primary fails or they both fail. Various online resources for setting it up. Two check valves and a wye junction. Easy project and helps prevent overflow.

i bought them both, was going to buy the 1/2 hp and was charged $14.xx for the shipping, so switched them out and the 1/3 HP was free ship to store.
Then I was thinking... Would I buy the 1/2 HP if it was $45 and free shipping, Yup! Don't be fooled, Ace is not as good at marketing, $47 for the 1/2 HP, from as reputable of a company as you can find, is a great deal. Imo.
