I got $4 avengers last week and it's awesome.
Just playing the solo campaign and it's fun.
Upgraded to ps4 last year, typically 5 years behind on the video games 🤷 ♂️

There were a bunch of times it was on sale for $450 last two months, or $500 + $75 dell giftcard.
Might want to wait to see what Black Friday offers.

Definitely casual now.
And like you I am at least a generation behind. Bought a PS4 just a year ago.
Benefit of being a last gen gamer is playing for pennies.
I mean my PS4 library is already full of Triple A titles (Last of Us 2, God of War, Bloodborne, Horizon, etc), all gotten for less than 5 bucks each.
Weather I'll ever get to play them all is another matter...
