This is also useful if you have two septic fields and a diverter. Don't forget to change your fields on a schedule.

anyone has experience with this? Bought one from Harbor Freight arnd couldn't turn off the water main. The tool was twisted and bent.

The cheap ones aren't worth a crap. You're better off calling the water company to turn the water off and add a valve on your side. One that is easier to turn off. Really shouldn't turn off the water at the water meter any ways some times they are piped with PVC from the main and it can get kinda sketchy if the pressure is high and it's on PVC.
