Sleeping on a cloud and staying warm is the best of both worlds. The zipper and shoulder draft tubes keep warm air in and cold air out. You'll be cozy all night. Recommend a TETON Sports insulated camp pad under any sleeping bag
Never share a sleeping bag. We have the regular and XL Teton bags that have a 20F temp rating, they are fine for 3 season camping but I would not use them in winter or under 40F. Price should be in the $40-50 range for those.
My mom bought me one of these a couple years ago because I accidentally left it on my Amazon wish list and that's apparently how she Christmas shops for us.
While I like it, OMG I would absolutely not buy it for any sort of actual camping. Do you have kids and they want to have a movie party? Great for that. Are you deathly hung over from last nights EDM show that you continue to tell yourself you're young enough to go to despite being in your 40's? AWESOME FOR THAT + the TV and door dash. Is it snowing outside and that new little muffin you're dating want to get cozy for a movie? YEAAAAAH BOY "Are you still watching"?
What I'm saying is, this is great for anything but camping. The handful of times I took it camping it was cumbersome, a pain in the butt to repack (more so than normal size bags) and took up a ridiculous amount of space.
If you're buying just for fun, great. It's terrible for actually camping.
I've had the 0F degree Mammoth sleeping bag for about five years now. It is my favorite piece of camping equipment!
I do NOT use it as a two person sleeping bag. It is just for me!
Yes, it is big! Yes, it takes effort to get it back into the stuff-sack. And yes, it takes up as much storage space as three normal sleeping bags.
But it is worth it!
It has separate independent zippers for each side and the bottom, so you can unfold it into a giant comforter, separate it into two blankets, or even zip two of these together side by side.
I can highly recommend it if you can put up with the bulkiness.

So much this. I have a bunch of different bags, including a -40 Snow Goose, 0 Big Agnes, the XXL (single wide) version of this, and several others going up in temp limits. For car camping, as opposed to backpacking or expeditions, the Teton is my go-to. And I'm not a big person in any sense.
Edit: I don't have the queen double-wide but the XXL single. Double-wide wouldn't fit on my sleeping pads. The XXL is also $80 right now.

I'll also add, that if you do any kind of cold weather camping, get the 0 or -15 degree version. Remember that unless specified elsewhere, the temp rating is the survival rating, not comfort. If you're not going to hit freezing temps, this will be totally fine but should only be one part of your 3-part sleep system - sleep clothes, bag, pad.
I'd also like to thank all y'all that buy something like this and return it because it's not what you expected. I pick them up for a fraction of the price from Amazon returns and give them out for what I paid, to the parents of my scouts and other leaders. They get a great deal, they sleep better, and if they're not inclined towards camping this helps entice them out.

I am not much of a camper, so I am genuinely curious. Why shouldn't you share a sleeping bag?

Yes, it's huge item.
Yea, packing is a pain.
It's one of our favorite items and has been on many camping trips with us. It's kept us warm in 15F camping trip.
