Has the quality improved for the refurbished? I bought a refurbished fan few years ago and came DOA, but the return process was easy. I stopped buying refurbished products from Dyson since that time.

It may be a targeted offer. I don't see a coupon on the product page, unfortunately.

Cool of them to list it at this price after I bought the sale for $220 after coupon a couple days ago lolol. Anywho, I bought a V8 Absolute refurbished a few years back from the Dyson eBay store and have no complaints. Was in mint condition except for a paint scuff on the housing. Only reason I am upgrading is because 1) I messed it up bad with sawdust and 2) I broke the motorized head trying to repair it and it costs almost as much to buy a new motorized head as it does to scoop up a refurb. I wouldn't fret about buying the refurb, it should be in great condition out of the box.
