My C1 has about 4400 hours on it, after roughly 18 months of usage. That's about 8 hours a day, so about 12,500 days or 34 years. Probably will upgrade before then.

What's the difference vs C2? A bit brighter, more HDMI ports, slimmer design, anything I'm missing? RTings is a giant info dump I can't make sense of.
Brighter and ATSC 3.0.

Wish it came with a normal stand. The separate stand that's sold separately sets the display at a fixed angle that can't be changed.
Isn't that how most stands that come with TVs work??? Solve that problem by buying your own stand.

Yes I got this exact deal. It was the last one in the store. They had 2 open box minus accessories for $899. The NIB was a better deal for only $154 More.
How long ago did you get this deal? Wondering if it's still worth my time popping into my local BB

How is this a slick deal? The C2 can (or recently could) be had for hundreds less, very similar panel, same size, just doesn't have the 'hang on the wall' art swag. Also, the C2 includes a stand and the G2 does not.

This deal is still valid as of this afternoon. Some Best Buy's are still selling this for $1053.99 if there are any left in your area.

Description: Resolution: 3840x1260 (4K Ultra HD)

Is that a typo? I thought it was supposed to be 3840 x 2160 for UHD.

I pulled the trigger because I heard the Black Friday units are mostly defective ones
that makes no sense. They come with a warranty so selling them knowing they are defective and have to be replaced would cost more

how long can i expect an OLED to last? is a diff type of tv better for reliability? i'm currently watching a vizio 60 inch eseries from 2014, so i'm sure the quality of all the newer stuff will be really nice comparatively. not gaming, just tv.

With that attitude why are you even on slickdeals? The vast majority of people don't need 98% of what's posted here. If you don't need it move on.

I just purchased the 2023 C3 version today at Costco because they add a 3-year Allstate warranty bringing the total years covered to five. It was $1499.99 before tax. Just make sure they add the Allstate warranty at checkout ($100 value). I bought it to replace a crappy TCL Google TV that I bought a few weeks ago. I've had it with cheap Chinese stuff and am hoping this experience is better. Here's the link for those interested. https://www.costco.com/lg-55%22-c...53255.html

They use crappy components for Black Friday units. Either that or less features. But people bought on Black Friday and still have the TV working fine too so it's pretty 50/50

So you'd buy a cheap base model car with horrible reliability just because it comes with a warranty?

FYI, for anyone into this deal. I had a problem with one of my gift cards and couldn't use it online so I went to the store today to order and it ended up being another $300 less at $1053.99.

YMMV as with all in-store pricing (and I'm a TotalTech member), but receipt photo attached. This was an NYC store.
