I really wanted to like CP but it's the definition of mediocrity. Like fighting the same 10 enemies? Like bugs that stop trophies from popping? Like a cliffhanger ending that means nothing because there will be no sequel? CP got you covered. Not a horrible way to spend 8 hours though to be fair. The graphics are also pretty slick, and the gore is well done.

Two of the three Plus Essential October games have been revealed by Billbil-kun [dealabs.com]. PS+ free monthly games for subscribers are up on the 1st Tuesday of every month. Extra and Premium games will be announced later on in the month. Links will go up when games are live!


The Callisto Protocol is a survival horror video game developed by Striking Distance Studios. The game is rather recent since it was released on December 2, 2022. It takes place in the heart of a terrifying environment on Jupiter's moon, Callisto, and promises an intense and somewhat frightening gaming experience.

Farming Simulator 22 is a farming simulation video game developed by Giants Software studio. It was released on November 22, 2021. The game offers an immersive farm management experience with a variety of farming vehicles, crops, and animals to manage.

AFAIK, this is a "leak" and not confirmed by Sony as the actual games for October. Not sure why rumors and leaks are posted to SD, seems like bad form.

Sad but true. The future is looking questionable for them. From ps+ getting a $20 additional fee with no extra value being added, to a slew of live service titles coming that you won't "own" or have access to forever, to a $200 wii u like device that ceases to matter once this console lifecycle ends in....4-5 years. With each passing year it continues to look like a better option to own a PC, especially since ps exclusives have casually make there way over to it.

Exactly. Also, the fact that it's missing the third title is kind of a waste of post. Which makes it unofficial. It seems more like a race to see who posts it first, even without the official announcement.
