That's the price with the free battery. Since the battery is considered a separate item, you can return it and get a $49 refund on the battery alone, making the tool $80.

What are you all using this tool for? I bought one 3 years ago and used it exactly twice since then, completely renovating two different houses. It seems like a fine tool but I'm just not using it.

cutting cable tray
cutting cable tray cover
cutting rectangles for cable glands
cutting rectangles for hmi screens
converted second one into belt sander (milwaukee did not make them back then, they make them now)

Don't underestimate this little tool, I used it to cut muffler, screws and all kind of metal without issues

I have this tool and it's good for some tight places. Expect to deal with it stopping on you during long cuts because it just doesn't have the cutting power. I would give it a 6-7 out of 10. At that price as long as it's not your mail cutting tool you're fine.

How does this compare to Dremel that was recently posted (clearance). I bought both corded and battery operated ones, was going to return one of those, but if this is better and has comparable price, might as well just get this one.

On the battery hack in general. When you do the return do you get the prorated/lower price or the full retail? I'm considering doing the m18 deal with the buy 2 and get a free item.

Yes. It's a miniature grinder and the cut off wheel is very thin so it cuts very well.
