I got the Husky set that mimics this setup (minus the worktop) for $900. That was the superior deal IMO, but no time machine.

Buyer beware - 24 gauge is super flimsy for garage cabinets. They sure might look nice at $1500 but this would be a case where you should spend the extra money and get their Pro line which is 18 gauge.

Bought these for 1,200 for the 9 piece back in march. I love them.

For anyone thinking these are too thin, I think it'll be fine for most home consumers. Unless you're taking heavy equipment in and out every week, 24 gauge is fine..

I mounted them on the wall, and bought longer thicket legs from Amazon for like $20, super stirdy.

This is an insane deal for the price! As a new homeowner
I'm so tempted. We currently have the crappy plastic Rubbermaid 4 tier racks, and while they work, they are absolutely not ideal. So so tempted on this…
I had the same plastic racks and they're garbage. After a bit they start to cave in and flex as well.. And by a bit I mean a few months or so. Then you risk the entire load falling down randomly. The only reason I didn't pull the trigger on these is that they're less convenient than putting up transparent bins of the same size into. Ended up getting 3 of the cheap Wallymart metal racks. Eventually built wooden doors onto them. I feel that it utilizes the space better and also the load capacity weight wise is more on the metal racks too. In hindsight I probably would have went with the more heavy duty metal racking with the higher weight capacity as opposed to the Wallymart ones, but the Wallymart ones already hold way more than the advertised product on here.

I think if you've got a ton of tools and utilize your garage entirely for working on building stuff and whatnot then this would be for you. If not then just save some money and go with the metal racking.

Just a word of warning NewAge's quality has dropped off heavily recently and they don't support their products well. While Costco will offer you a sort of protection buyer beware. Also Bold series is very flimsy!

There have been other threads on garage sites such as the below:

This^ weight capacity is very low and the metal will flex easily under load

Wow. After reading that thread we re not going to consider this setup. Looks nice but not worth the time and $ if they are going to rust (Hotlanta gets super humid 3-4 months a year). Pass.

By any chance if you can share the Amazon link for the legs?

Great deal. I bought the 8-piece for $1500 a year ago, and they look great and are very functional. I would totally grab these if I didn't have them already

I agree with others that it's tempting at this price, but you are going to end up thinking they are cheap each time you open a cabinet and everything about the feel to the sounds of the doors end up sounding flimsy and cheap. I get that everyone wants that race garage look, but I'd rather get cheap wood cabinets before this.

How's anyone with this system like the 18in depth over others like the Husky system at 24in depth?

Isn't only the higher level Husky heavy duty version 24" deep?

I have 2 sets of these... although I use one side as my liquor cabinet and the other for car care crap... The stainless steel top makes a great area to prepare drinks and solder circuit boards.... All jokes aside I really like them. Very solid, drawers slide easily and hold a good amount of weight. The customizable options for the sides is nice too.
