cpu is Intel® Core™ i7-1355U Processor. The U at the end means it runs on low watts (15-25 watts) meaning it won't overheat. Great for power browsing, not so much for gaming, no dedicated gpu. But it wont run hot all the time
this has usb 3.1 gen 1 portns. meaning it's normal usb 3 speed. the fast usb speed starts at usb 3.1 gen 2. and no thunderbolt. so no fast file transfer to external drives.
16 gigs of ram is soldiered on, don't know if theirs anyempty slots. At least 16 gigs is adequate.
resolution isn't great. upside is computer will run even cooler and smoother because it isn't driving much display.

I don't know, 60hz screen, 300 nits, and "slim and light" but still over 4 pounds.
This does have more RAM and SSD space, but I can fix those things, so I think I'd lean more toward the Asus Vivobook for $50 less, on the front page right now. Nice OLED screen on that one, although it is smaller. A little lighter, too.
I got an ideapad from Costco in April 2022. 17 months later, the hinge broke when I opened the lid one day. My warranty has expired and I can't get the lid to open or close without making things worse.

I had the exact same issue. I have never purchased Lenovo laptops before. Last year, there was a huge discount for Yoga i7. I paid $600 with 40% discount. The laptop was awesome and didn't have any issues at all. But after 6 months, that exact issue happened, and we were declined by customer support to replace it. So, guess what happened.
After 3 weeks something happened to the cpu and the computer won't start at all. We called their support center, and they said they would fix it for free since this is an internal issue. And when I received my laptop 2 weeks after I was shocked. They replaced everything (including the screen of the laptop), and they even replaced the keyboard as well. I think I was extremely lucky. But 1 month after the Ctrl key got stuck in the keyboard. Anyways, at least I got mine fixed. That keyboard issue is not a big deal. But I will never purchase Lenovo laptops anymore.

Costco should be 2 years warranty on laptops. 2nd year is from their concierge services, try giving them a call. I had to argue a bit with them but recently got a 17 month old laptop fully refunded when it kept blue screening after factory reset
Saw the advertisement and thought, "Why are there naked breast's on the computer screen?" After checking for the umpteenth time, I confirm that's clearly a nipple showing on her left breast.
