Lowest-end Shimano drivetrain, mechanical disc brakes, small battery. It does claim to be UL-listed though. A different site sells this for $1000 and doesn't claim to be on sale.

So not a bad lowest-end ebike I guess based on the specs. It's hard to find a sub $400 bike that doesn't have gremlins in the battery that may burn down your house. But if you're looking for anything above "it works," look elsewhere.
Originally $3,000, LOL
That's a great deal for a mid-drive. And a UL-listed battery.
There's some folks on Reddit that bought these and they have had the typical delivery issues and setup/adjustments common with cheap drop-shipped Chinese ebikes, but if you can deal with that it sounds like you've got a great deal here. The motor is said to be last year's version but known to be very reliable. Check out the Reddit posts.
I'm tempted to get one for the wife but I doubt it will get used much. :-(

This looks perfect for a family member, but not sure what height of riders this will accommodate. Would this work for someone who is 5'? Quite literally no guidance on their website

Woah mid drive for that price is insane... step thru and 7 speed is amazing. 350w mid drive might actually be equal to a 500w or 750w hub motor... would love some reviews on this bike, I would consider this for sure.

Seems decent...

Other than mid-drive, doesn't seem to improve on the Huffy 27.5 which was under $300.

What?? I doubt it could compare to this... what are you talking about?? UL battery and mid drive motor on this . Granted the 36v battery is crap and should be replaced

With the coupon, Everett+ was near $250 shipped.
UL2849, as well.

Same parent company.

What about the Mountain Bike version? Anyone familiar with that? Mountain Bike should also be additional 20% off? So might ring up for $548?

7 speed and step thru is completely normal at this price, mid drive is remarkable

I went for it. FYI, if you have ID.me setup as a teacher, you can get the price down another 8% or so, total for me was $404.

What's minimum height of a rider for this bike? Can't find that information on their site.

Looks great too me. Other than the grip twist shifter everything looks good to me. You can't get a Walmart bike and add an ebike kit with a battery for less than $500. Just wondering if those grip twist shifters are really that much cheaper to produce? I hate them. Bty I am ready for the thump down some those trolls.

Nice discount. They have student discount via studentbeans at 30%. Wonders if it stacks.
