Can't decide if I want a cooler or a fridge like the bougeRV thing. This thing would pretty much live in my car to keep groceries cold since it's hot as balls in Florida.

for $145 you can get a 37qt car fridge/ freezer from Walmart.

Its vevor. search car fridge on Walmart. Price is +$10-15 now. I'll post pics and a review once I get it later today.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm leaning more towards the fridge as you still need ice for the cooler. Even if you made the ice yourself you have to make enough ice to store it and then use it. Occupying a lot of space for the cooler and the ice needed to fill it. Unless you buy ice but that's what $4 to $10 depending on how much you fill it up. With a fridge you just use the energy from the car or house if you get an adapter or buy an adapter if it doesn't come with one.
But it's not the same size in terms of capacity. 75qt vs 21qt or 23qt.
yet how much space are you losing due to ice? and with it packed more densely it would have less air which could mean it would stay colder longer in the fridge? maybe, that I'm not 100% sure of but I do know in power outages a filled fridge would stay colder longer but you could move ice packs from the freezer and load them in the fridge top shelf during longer outages. or planned outages?

I got it at full price and I think it's worth it. One thing that I wish it come with at that price point was a basket. None of the ones that Igloo has fits this model. I can probably find one from aftermarket but haven't tried.

To live in the car. BougeRV sounds best since you won't need ice, works like a fridge from home…

Just make sure where you place it, there is room for it to vent.
