If you have an Ollie's near you, take a look there for these. I got the 4 person version of this for $39 earlier this week. They also had the 2 person on display, but none in stock at my store so I'm not sure about the price.

These are pretty useful for car camping. We have a similar version and it's quite literally: Unbuckle, unravel, and secure to the ground. Takes less than a 30 second if you're handy. Putting it back into frisbee mode can be tricky until you get used to it.

Materials are pretty durable. I have not yet had the pleasure of getting rained on, so I'm not sure if you would need to waterproof the seams.

I bike camp allot and these would probably be kinda awkward to get onto a bike rack as they are this large round shape. Easier to get a tent in a rectangular package onto a bike rack

Do you have tips/methods/recommendations for waterproofing seams? I haven't been camping in decades and I'm hoping I can take a small 'camping' trip to a nearby campground in the next year or so.

I was thinking about using one of these in the bed of my truck, but I'm picking up a backseat air mattress and a set of window mosquito covers instead.

I have the 4 person, but I'm planning to use it for the beach more than for actual camping.

I wanted to go bike camping this summer, but rain rain rain. So maybe this would work with my folding bike.

I bought this same tent off Amazon. It was returned so I got it for $25, great deal and worth it. It's super easy to put up. Slightly difficult to take down. There's some YouTube videos out there that explain how to "make the taco" and collapse it down. It's not for backpack/hiking since it a stores in a large disc shape. But it's perfect for camping in the front room, back yard, and at a campsite. Probably even be great at the beach.

Thanks. That's what I was thinking. Even if I attached it to my milk crate I think it would create some pretty bag drag.

The description says the seams on the floor are taped so I'd be shocked if the fly wasn't. But if it isn't, the best way to seal seams is with Seam Grip.

Had one of these for 5 years. Easiest set up ever. Folding it back up is tricky and will be frustrating at first but once you get it, real easy. Not something you can take with you in a hike as it is very wide.

Was just camping last month with this, went to close the zipper for the night, zipper completely broke. Had to throw it away.

Great tent for someone who camps 1-3x/year. I'd expect it to last 5 years as well. Frequent campers, this may not be the tent for you.

Have used this in the rain, no issues with rain getting in. You will want a tarp or some ground cloth underneath as the material is a bit thin, but waterproof.

Seems like it'd be horrible in the wind. We've had our metal frame tent collapse in the middle of the night due to not staking it down and wind kicking up. This looks like it would do worse.

6'1 250lb guy here. This is a GREAT single person tent that pops out and folds up easy(if you remember how) it is not a 2 person tent. Don't be fooled.
