Honestly this website is a gamble. 50/50 you get a almost brand new condition. I haven't had a problem with their returns, but have ordered "NEW" items that were not new at all.

Add to cart for the additional 20% (OP's price). This is what the site describes as "like new" - "Condition Description:Very Good items function as New, but they may have minor scratches on the front and/or back of the unit that do not affect their functionality. Some items will be placed in new non-retail packaging to better safeguard their condition." If you luck out on almost a brand new looking one it's a great price. The xm4 are also pretty cheap.

Anyone have experience getting used wireless headphones? How is the battery life on these used ones? I'm sure it varies, but does battery life decrease significantly over a year of use?

Depends I think they are both fairly similiar.

XM5 - Better call quality and slightly better sound. A little lighter than the xm4.

XM4 - Foldable headset (smaller case) and ear cushion stick closer to your face so less sound leakage. ​

I've had both. I found the 5 better for noise cancelling and Zoom calls. I like the 4 better for travel as you can fold them in, and the build quality was more solid on the 4. Battery and comfort great on both. If you plan to take voice or video calls get the 5.
