I have the Core i3-1220p variant of the model (it was posted here at $330 some months ago). Overall it's a well-built machine especially for the price, and it's nice to be able to upgrade NVME and at least one of the ram (although you probably don't want to break dual link by putting a different sized ram). While it's not outstanding in any way, nothing is bad enough to be a deal breaker.

My only gripe with the laptop is that the USB-C port on this laptop doesn't output graphics, so you will need a DisplayLink adapter if you want to connect two external monitors.

It will still work in Dual Channel mode. Google Hybrid Dual channel or Flex Mode. It's a misconception that dissimilar sized Ram modules don't work in Dual Channel.

Good point, but it only works up to the matched size still if it works. Still a lot better than no dual channel at all.

To anyone: How may I find out what resolutions the built-in HDMI can output? Will it do 4K (even if only 30Hz)? Any suggestions on a quality compatible USB-C dock with 4K video output that also has RJ45 connection? There are a confusing amount USB dock options. Thanks!

Yes, it does 4K at 30 Hz. And USB-C dock won't work with it. Read the specification where i clearly mentioned that the Type-C Port is just data only. You can just use as a normal USB-C Hub with some Type-A, SD card slot etc. It won't do any video out.

I know the deal ended but still useful for me to know... When you say a USB C dock won't work with it, do you mean specifically the video out of a dock, or do you mean for all uses of a dock?

Video Out and Typ-C Charging will not work. You can consider that as a normal USB 3.0 port with Type-C interface. So, only those basic Hubs with USB por extender, SD card Reader, Ethernet port, those will work, exactly same as the normal USB Type-A Hubs.
