This must be a joke. The cooling solution in this thing will limit this so much. Why pay $1000 for something like this when that will get you a 3070 lenovo 5 pro with i7-11th H cpu which will likely be a lot faster?

That's true 13th generation i7 processors may be a little bit faster on the multi-core tests... But I purchased this because I wanted an emulator mostly for arcade games example coin ops or hyperspin... And I wanted the ability to detach it and use like a tablet so I can read comic books and magazines and watch movies... But I also wanted something that could play like GTA v or some other high-end video games without having to necessarily spend $2,000 either.. true it's a little bit less powerful than a true gaming laptop but I didn't want a true gaming laptop I already have one of those..

I would say if you're interested in getting a surface tablet, an iPad, or a Samsung S9 tab.. just purchased this instead and you'll be a lot happier.

Because this is a 2-in-1 tablet with detachable keyboard? LOL, I hope you were kidding with your comparison to that of a plan jane non-touch screen laptop.

FYI, Normal drivable RV's cost most than most mobile homes and cars combined yet have less space than a mobile home while the speed is 'limited' compared to a car...*mind blown.*

Wow, I didnt even know they were making "gaming tablets" like this. Crazy. Cool for gaming on the go I guess, but Windows sucks in tablet form.

Anyone know if you can add more RAM or is it all soldered on? That's my biggest hang up at the moment

You clearly haven't used it.

The cooling design is actually clever. Sucks tons of air from the back and front and exhaust it all through the top. Use a vapor chamber and Liquid Metal. There is even a warning if you close the keyboard on the screen when it's on telling you that the cooling is compromised

This product only make sense for casual gamers who needs the form factor. It is amazingly fast on productivity tasks and the battery is just above average if you disable the gpu and lower the brightness when on the go

If only asus was not selling the external gpu for more than the tablet itself!!! If you can afford it,
It's better than the steamdeck or the z1 extreme tablets

The new generation z13 fixed some of the issue with the 4070 version and better cpu and screen but damn it's expensive

Cons: heavy as hell, 3050 ti has only 4gb and is only good for 1080p medium to low settings in AAA games. I have good hopes with fsr3 to help this "old" gpu somehow.

The z13 is the heaviest tablet I ever have but I still love it and I only. Paid $600 for it at Best Buy used in July

It's heavy for a tablet but only 34% more than the Surface Pro (which also has a 13" screen). So heavier than the standard bearer, but frankly there aren't other tablets out there with discrete GPUs to compare it to ... and without the keyboard it actually weighs the same amount as a 13" MacBook Air. So not really *that* heavy.

It's a non-issue though if you use it propped up with the kickstand, which I imagine most people would do when playing games.
