Everything about the tolls is a scam. They were originally supposed to end once the bridges were paid for, but the folks in charge decided they didn't want to stop the money flow so now they use the toll system as a jobs initiative (employing lots of worthless administrators and CSRs) and after the government takes its cut for "administering the program" what's left is given to the failing transit agencies so they can pay janitors $200k to sleep on the job.

I would not call this a deal because this is the policy which has been executed in the past 3 years

The discount is only applicable when HOA times are enforced. That means weekends and off peak times are not valid.

And I really hated fasttack. 680 always has issue with scanning my toll tag and will charge me. 880 has no issue. If you have fast track, I recommend check the balance regularly. If the charges are based on license plate number, that means you could be charged even though if you multiple occupants.

And making up BS excuses why fuel costs are higher in CA instead of actually doing anything about it.

All of them everywhere need to earn an average wage; be held to term limits and everything is out of their own pocket. They feel no pain as most everything is provided and/or comped.

When they have to live like the people they serve, watch out, changes will be immediate;
even Cali gas prices.

Express lanes are strictly and truly highway robbery. Traffic is much worse with this scam implementation. The worst parts drivers don't have a say on this.

Anything above $0 is a scam. We pay the highest gas prices in the nation "for the roads" and the highest vehicle registration fees "for the roads" and then we have to pay to drive on the damned roads. I own an electric car among others and if anything my gas cars should get the discount since I'm already paying extra "for the roads" at the pump.

It's a random check for applicants. If they didn't ask for proof and you already received money then there's nothing to do.

i got the cvrp check already but the cvrp specifically says they will most likely look at 2022, but for CAV it doesnt seem to make same distinction

Recently went to the Bay Area from LA, and why does the 880 feel like you're stuck in a time warp? Freakin I swear 19 mins from destination felt like 119mins!!

*and it wasn't due to traffic jams/slow downs.
**alright 119 min is exaggerating but still. That's was the longest 19min drive of my life.

I'm in LA. But next time when I go to SF will definitely fly and rent a car. So that I don't need to care about my car windows will be broken.

Because big rigs also travel on 880.
