why is it crappy
It has built in fees and large late penalties. They're not giving a discount out of the kindness of their hearts. They expect to make more money overall than they give up with the discount.

You pay $6 in service fees but save $50 on the card. You can pay off all the payments early if you're worried about missing a payment. Anyone remotely competent won't have to worry about late fees.

Which goes back to what I said, it's not a coupon, it's crappy financing.

You also don't have to manually make the payments. It does so automatically assuming you have the funds available.
I can get more than $50 for opening a line of credit and it'll be waaaaaay better than this crappy outfit.
Good for you? You do realize Zip isn't a line of credit and is more like a layaway arrangement? Feel free to open a line of credit and take advantage of both deals. Your comment isn't very slick.
