Looks like they are clearing out models for the PX-2. PX-1 (Non-pro) is still a solid projector. Triple laser, and recent firmware update also gives it Dolby Vision.

Note you will need an ALR screen which can be $600 ~ $1200 depending on your size/budget for daytime viewing. In a pinch, you can project this on a wall for night-time viewing until you get a screen but expect some distortion since walls are not perfectly flat.

I've been pretty happy with mine...I paid $1800 about 9 months ago. Offer ends Oct 01 at 8:59 PM PDT. Note this is B&H so they observe some religious holidays where online checkout is only available starting Sun Oct 1, 8:00pm (unsure of timezone but check back Sunday).

Incredible deal! I have a Formovie T1, but the PX-1 series would be my second choice. At $1300 this is a total no brainer.

I don't see mention of Dolby vision, believe that was the Pro version only unless something changed?

Hey sorry folks, I may have misread the price thinking the $1300 in savings was the price. I think this is due to a bug on B&H not showing the price correctly.

I'm going to mark the post expired.

Non-pro version also got the Dolby update (I got it). Anyway, the deal is probably wrong since B&H is not showing the pricing correctly on their website.

I say yes. Maybe read?
The price when it was posted said it was $1300. Why do people on this board always have to be so cocky?

Because when posted prior to the correction it said started on Oct 1st. Now that it's been corrected and I've checked after responding I see the error, so did the poster. Did you not question BEFORE the correction and did the poster not state when it'll be available?

Get both, they're totally different experiences and both are worth it.

Just very nice well adjusted people that demands everyone already knows everything and only replies not to help but to make sure people feel bad when they miss some information.

So at $1300, I was tempted. Is $1800 a decent deal?

To me it's lukewarm. Tri laser does sound appealing and at $1300 I was about to instantly buy. I have a dell laser ust right now that is super bright but doesn't have good color.

they both will last a long time. long enough for the technology to become outdated.

i like oled mostly because you dont really need a dark room to get the best out of it. plus i dont really need anything larger than 65-85 inches.
