i consume a pound per month

any advice on dispensing out of a 5 pound tub?
should i take out a pound, put it into a one pound jar
so i leave the 5 pound tub undisturbed for a month?

Is the unhealthy ingredients in here that much worse than natural version? I can eat peanut butter in moderation so I'm usually OK with a serving to put on toast, waffles, etc

i make peanut butter based treats all the time, so this will be very useful. When i make peanut butter bars the recipe i use calls for non organic peanut butter for best results, so i will use this for it. I generally have found that skippy's no sugar added is the cheapest best option for general peanut butter use, i didn't see a 5lb tub of it on sale. I just purchased 4 large tubs of the no sugar added recently.

Commercially sold peanut butter is fine opened for at least a month, and an additional 3-5 months after that if you move to the refrigerator to prevent oil separation.

Hydrogenated oil l!!!!! I will stick to the NATURAL but that is a great price. Natural in the 2.5lbs has 20 off coupon as well. I know most people don't care but u should. 😘
