If you've ever had tomatillo avocado raw salsa, then this will taste like green mayo. Disappointing
This stuff is closer to salad dressing than it is to actual guacamole. The bulk of the product is just a blend of water, tomatillos, and soybean oil.

Since when is soybean oil a traditional Mexican ingredient?

Thought this stuff was delicious when I tried it awhile ago. Not sure I can use THAT much, ha ha. Have a 12 oz still unopened. Working on a Roasted Poblano Salsa Cremosa right now, also good.

This stuff should be called creamy tomatillo sauce. Doesn't taste much like guacamole, which shouldn't be surprising considering how far down avocados are on the ingredient list. Their poblano & chipotle salsa cremosas aren't bad, though.

Agreed. The "Guacamole" salsa is mostly soybean oil with green food coloring.

I like their verde and casera just fine for shelf-stable salsas. The guac one is a little questionable.

It tastes good, it's super cheap. This is like the Pace Salsa version of Guac. It's just to add flavor to your chips. It's not meant to be fancy or chucky. It's super watery and there is a ton of it. It makes plain cheap tortilla chips from the store taste better. It's for getting stoned/drinking and watching movies with friends and eating cheap snacks or activities as serious as that.

Since companies are using products that are cheap and all other crap ingredients to keep the avocados part from not turning into sh*t color. This stuff is nasty. To each their own.

Thanks for the review, I'll stick with buying these at Costco.

Two in our household. The 7 ounce cans work great. As soon as you open these, the clock is ticking.
