I'd argue that for most people this $17.99 Ikea knife is just as good:

Wüsthof knives use X50CrMo14, whereas Ikea's uses nearly identical X50CrMo15 steel.
The 14 vs. 15 is the percent of Chromium in metal.
Both full tang, Ikea's knife technically is an even more robust one-piece design.
