Really looking for a Walnut deal but nothing new and people want too much for their used ones. Missed out on the Best Buy clearance of $897 which was the lowest I saw.

Bought virtually new R7 a few months ago in Bestbuy clearance for $1020/pair with no box, replacing Emotiva floor speakers. Sound is amazing with all details revealed and base goes low, as well as wide plus deep sound stage. It's absolute bargain at this price, just grab it if you want to upgrade from $2000 or less speakers.

A good deal, but keep in mind this isnt the newer R3 Meta, the older KEF coaxials didnt measure quite as well as the later generation Meta version. Im assuming most dealer are just trying to slowly liquidate the inventory of them

The Metas are $800 more. For those that don't mind a little sacrifice in performance or have a tight budget, these are an extremely smart buy at almost 40% off.

The KEF Uni-q drivers are considered concentric (Share the same center), not coaxial (Share one axis).

All concentrics are coaxials but not all coaxials are concentric. Generally an umbrella term that encompasses concentric. If you were to buy the drive component off the shelf it would be categorized under coaxial as they are multi driver single axis origin, however some coaxials can have multiple tweeters on . (ex: Tang Band W6-2313)
