OK... someone tell me what's wrong on the ingredient list or why I shouldn't buy this for my next batch of protein powder lol
53 cents per serving. the label in the picture says 12 which seems wrong. the description says 66 servings. $35/66 = 53 cents
Not bad price wise based on continuing to calculate, here's what I got so far:
Quote
:
so costco baseline is $0.88 per scoop @ $70 for 5.64 pounds, each scoop is 32g (extra calculation but just including it for reference)
10lb bag deal from amazon is $0.68 per scoop not bad (edited)
Updating with another calculation: Looking at an ebay link for a seller that claims to sell direct, it's $112 for 15lbs, looking at their label, 30g / scoop, cost is 49.5 cents per serving

I bought this last time it was on sale. It was my first time buying so I'm not sure if my batch was just an anomaly but the smell was horrific. When you open the bag, it smells like the markers we all sniffed as kids; very chemically smelling. The smell was so overpowering, it made me lightheaded.
The taste is similar to what you smell but not as bad. It still has a heavy artificial taste to it and it tastes nothing like chocolate.
The only pro I can give it is that it mixes well and doesn't require heavy scrubbing of your blender bottle even if you haven't washed it for hours.

Are you kin L on Amazon lol read a similar comment. Thanks for your experience... Makes me wonder
Thanks. I've had both chocolate and vanilla of this over the last year. I like them both fine. Great price when on sale like this for just over $6 per pound, and decent macros.
$112 for 15lbs of isolate (I picked unflavored, there's the 3 flavored versions). Comes out to 50 cents per serving. This deal is 56 cents per serving and is whey concentrate (normal)
