I'm in CA with a really good Kaiser insurance. I made the appointment last week. Showed up today and the tech said they don't accept my insurance. Wasted my 15 mins.

they should give you a coupon for each shot at the vaccine office. Buy an item for 1 dollar and they will add to your walgreens account where it won't expire. Coupons are good for a week. while there do two separate purchases for a dollar and 40 dollars will be in your walgreens account and won't expire.

The administrator of the vaccine gives you one coupon per shot. While there make a purchase of at least one dollar and the 20 dollars will be added to your walgreens account(between 4-7 Oct ) The coupons are only good for a week. If getting multiple shots, advise to make a separate 1 dollar purchase that day to have money placed in your walgreens account and not let coupon expire.

True, the coupons expire in a week. If loaded into your account they don't expire.

Doesn't seem ethical to pay someone to take drugs or make a medical decision. Should be illegal everywhere instead of just a few states.

As others pointed out previously, I had to ask where's the $20 coupon after they handed me the receipt. It had printed and was back by the register.

I didn't see that requirement. I am doing it because insurance covers the cost of the vaccination (vaccine + administer the shot) and I want to get a flu shot. I am not sure if it's worth it if you have to pay for the vaccination out of pocket unless you "want" to be vaccinated (flu or COVID or any other vaccine).

I feel this as an "reward" or "marketing". I "want" to get a flu shot whether they reward me or not. I want to protect myself, my family, and my friends even if I have to pay out of pocket myself. I do have insurance and it's covered by it. Insurance companies rather pay for vaccination than you show up at doctor's office or worst case end up in an emergency room.

My Walgreens members, Get vaccinated today and receive coupon for $20 in rewards after spending one dollar.

Just did it. Receive one coupon per shot and can use up to 3 coupons. Can redeem 1 coupon per transaction. Coupons expire in 2 weeks.

Insurance covers most vaccinations. If no insurance, join the Walgreens Prescription Club. Saw someone do that today. No insurance: $345 for RSV shot. They joined Walgreens Prescription Club and it was covered.
