Actually ever other EV manufacturer is reporting growing sales of their models. MachE just recorded highest month and Q ever. Same for Rivian, same for Hyundai.
Tesla is going to drop prices again this Q. They have 85,000 units in unsold inventory and their entire narrative is increasing deliveries. Unsold was growing for 4 Qs then last Q, even after 6 price cuts, they sold 5k of them (90k went down to 85k). They *have* to move that metal, and they will cut prices again in order to do so.

Note everyone. My Model Y loses battery 10% a night with sentry mode on. That's almost 3-5 dollars a night (supercharge). If you don't have a garage, this is not a car to get.

Just do a through walk through of the vehicle once delivered. Apparently once you go tesla, you stay with teslas. I'm tempted to get into one as well with all the glowing praises from numerous friends and family

I think it's luck of the draw with the build quality. Two people I know got Model Ys. One loves theirs and the other one is always in the shop getting something fixed

My next car will probably be electric but no Tesla for me. They are everywhere in the DC area and I want something more special.

Exact same experience. M3P from Feb and surprised how quite it is. Even swapped my OEM Turb wheels for aftermarket staggered and its still very quiet. Get it down to $20-25k and maybe the masses will buy them. I couldn't afford a car payment for a $43k car if I wanted to...would probably cost as much as my rent.

I would love to get model 3 or Y, but keep seeing issues on reddit. Battery failure, crazy repair bills, and battery degradation. For insurance, i pay $160/m full coverage for lexus es and bmw m3, I got quoted $250/m for just model 3 alone. I want the FSD but not worth paying extra $ and headache.

Are tesla dealers staffed by lower class, sleazy, aggressive sales types like all other dealerships?

I've never owned a Tesla but know many who do. Most of them love it, but will recommend you have a backup car for the amount of times it has to get repaired etc
