Feels a bit cheap but I don't like the grip shape of the wireless ones. It's uncomfortable to me so I prefer to use this one.

I don't have experience with their Switch controllers, but their enhanced Xbox controllers are hot garbage. I've not had one last longer than 6 months, with light to moderate use.

I love their enhanced Xbox controllers. Lol. Though your right about it having issues. They get a bit of stuck drift every 6-9 months. But I email powera and they just send me another. So I don't mind.

Play on a Pro controller, then play on this. I'd rather have the Pro than 8 of these... which is about the cost ratio.

If you play 4 hours a day and throw your controllers a lot, this might be the better deal.

Don't know about RetroArch specifically but the primary use for these has been on a windows PC and it works fine. I believe the use the older DriectInput standard and not xInput so they don't show up as xBox controllers but DirectInput is common enough I'd expect RetroArch to support it or at worst need some sort of DirectInput to xInput mapper

Edit. I ordered a Woo-hoo! Mario as a back up controller of secondary.
