Neat feature I didn't see listed here. This has a USB-C Out for charging your device using the flashlight as the source.

I have a different Husky light from a previous sale, and was impressed with the quality.

HD gives another 10% off if you are a military vet making for an even better deal.

OOS...I don't usually like these high lumen lights with that big bubble lens, they get extra lumens by using a magnifying lens and not a larger diode.

Eh? It's not possible to increase the total light output (the lumens) via optics. The amount of lumens a light source produces is independent of the magnification or distribution.

Correct. More accurate might be that they tend to measure the lumens at the emitter in these, and a lot is lost in the lens. Zoom lights are usually not a great value. There are many better lights at this price, often with similar features, brighter, more compact. For example, keep an eye out for deals on Wurkkos or Sofirn lights. I have a couple Wurkkos lights are serving me quite well.

Eh?? So I shouldn't have used the word "Lumens"....you know exactly what I mean. The lens is there to "magnify" the light and the better flashlights don't use them.

I don't get the appeal of rechargeable/lithium flashlights. You have a battery that's a higher fire risk than NiMH, that's far more expensive to buy extras of, and in many cases the batteries are sealed in. So when the flashlight dies, you either have to have another expensive, fire hazard lithium on standby, or for the sealed ones, you have to wait for it to recharge, you can't even swap the battery (and Jason will kill you before you get it working again).

I have one I got on clearance at Lowes. The battery is the same size as an AA and you can use a regular AA in it. But it's much dimmer with the AA and I have other 1xAA flashlights that are just as bright as this one without requiring a 3.7v lithium.

Maybe others have had more luck with Husky flashlights than I have had. I have found them to be of suboptimal quality.

Includes removable rechargeable battery AND removable insert for using regular AA batteries.
Are you suggesting NiMH over Li-ion?
