Dc motor more efficient, quieter. You don't get the humming sound.
Ummm. Buy new fans in boxes on a new receipt. Return the new fans in boxes on the older receipt.
You also get to refresh and renew the warranty start date that way.
Got the 60" Blakefords during a previous sale around the same price. Nice fans. Easy to install. Moves an insane amount of air even with the close mount setup (no down rod). Tempted to order the 54" for my office to have all of the downstairs match now with the same type of fan with how well the others performed and ease of installation.

I would love to get a DC powered fan, but because this is the only light in the master bedroom, I am looking for more light similar to the 3 bulb configuration, like the older ceiling fans. I have not found one that is reasonable price. My old hunter fan is now making noise.
Home depot would not do price match on the last fan deal I bought 3 of them and the price is less now. They claim it is a special buy so no price match. They will let me return them and buy new ones but that is a pain to disassemble and replace. I think I will shop at Lowe's from now on
