I seriously DOUBT it.

It's RUBBER, it will deteriorate just like ALL other rubber wipers.
I'd be real curious what conditions they used to determine a 40% longer lifespan.

Project Farm did a review of these Icon blades - while they did well in his tests, they were NOT the best of the premium wipers.
Project Farm disagrees [youtube.com]
I don't expect a WSB regard to know what he's talking about anyways

I have these, they are ok. After 6 months they are holding up ok but I don't think they will last that long.

Driver side jumps or skates across the glass at times, even when it's raining. I wash and wash car regularly so it should be smooth. I also feel like debris get caught up under the wiper very easy.

Thanks OP, in for a set for the wife's car. These are the only blades I've used, for years now - in my experience I've found nothing better for durability and performance in our challenging northern climate.

Perfect timing, thanks! Just ordered some the other week from a sketchy website and they haven't shipped yet 🥴 I doubt they will show up and now have these.

Bought the same set 3 years ago for slightly less money. I don't use my wipers so often so I'm still on using them. Agreed, still works great even in rain or snow.

I've not found any wipers that will last over a year with out chattering. And my cars are garaged, not much sun exposure.

Respectfully disagree. I've had the same set for around 5 years. Just finally replaced them this year. They are a great product. My truck is parked outside 100% of the time as is the wife's car. We are on So Cal.

Are these worth the premium over the Michelin beams at Costco? (Currently 7.99/each).

Never used either model...got 3 years out of my OEMs.

How long would it be okay to keep these stored in garage or indoor storage? Don't need them now but maybe next year or two. Wondering if the rubber deteriorates over time

I concur. Usually just get the seven or eight dollars per pair even though they are different sizes from eBay. Last about a year.
