Weight is 4.02, not 3.76 lbs. (Specs given for the P16s are only "starting at" for the smaller battery. To get the weight with the larger battery that this come with, you have to look at the T16 specs.)

Don't know if this panel does it or not but one (crappy) way to dim a panel is to Pulse With Modulate the lights (turn them on and off quickly) to dim the screen. This can lead to perceived flicker and eye strain if not at max brightness.

You'd definitely want the larger battery - if it's the same model as last year's Gen 1, then you can buy the larger battery (5B10W51872) through laptop battery shop for ~$63 (was $100 last year!).
Unsure if it's the same battery size, but this looks like a similar chassis as gen 1...

I'm satisfied with gen 1 (not insanely overjoyed with it, but it's a good work machine and I can't complain!), so am going to wait for a while.

For last year's model, the larger battery took me from ~5 hr battery life to ~8 hr battery life on "Better Performance" mode. Not sure you'll see that here, but would love to read reports from you if you buy this and try the bigger battery!
I also have the gen1. AMD version. How the heck are you getting 8 hrs?! I also upgraded the battery and prob getting 5.

On the website it says 1 ssd slot only. Anyone who has this can confirm this? Most 16'' laptops have 2 ssd slots

I use Win 10 LTSC to help reduce bloatware. I also use some packaged software that helps reduce unnecessary telemetry.

Ddr5x is going to be solid for the 5 years along with 32gb memory. Internal datasheets don't list this pn yet. So I can't confirm battery for you. The couple of other pn with the same cpu and memory all have the upgraded battery. Suspect it has it. But can't say 100%. Would like to know where OP found that info at.

The "s" is single slot. The "v , p, or no letter" are 2

You don't want the no letter. Think first gen Alienware type size.

Only 1, there is another smaller slot next to it, but it doesn't look connected.
