Are they coming out with a new version? These are great for RetroPi, etc. I don't know what all they will pair with - xBox, PS, etc. I use for RetroPI and Arcade Legends.
Also, wired - which isn't so bad - depending. On a cab not so bad but if 12 feet away from TV no so greaqt.
The 8BitDo website says it's 6" x 4" x 2.5" (153.6 x 100.6 x 64.5mm).
My Logitech F310 is slightly smaller at 5.6" x 3.85" x 2.25". I have small hands and I don't think the F310 is big at all...it seems like it's made for small hands. Since the 8BitDo is only 0.4" x 0.15" x 0.25" larger, I'd say it's on the small side. I can't explain the pictures though, it does look huge there. Maybe the dimensions are wrong on the website?

Being as you mentioned dimensions, the current Xbox Series controllers are 6" x 4" x 2.47" - almost identical to this one (assuming the specs listed are accurate, of course). If a Series controller is a decent size/comfort level for someone's hands, then (in theory) this should provide a similar experience for them.
This is a great controller I think I might get another for back up. This is plug and play, no need for third party software or drivers like stadia or ps 3/4/5.

It's about the same size as a modern Xbox controller if that helps
Nope only the most expensive SKU has hall sticks
