Good price for a machine with a high resolution 120Hz OLED display and discrete graphics.

That said, it's held back by 50 watt TDP 4050 placing it amongst the slowest benchmarked laptops with 4000 series graphics. That'd be fine if it meant the machine ran cool and silent but it does not. Its poor cooling means that the fan both runs loud and causes the CPU to throttle quickly, resulting in poor sustained CPU performance. Still, if you're comparing it against an older machine with, say, a 3050, it's going to perform a bit better.

Personally I would spend a bit more for an Asus Vivobook OLED model which does not suffer from these issues. For $1499 at Best Buy you can get the 4050 model or for $1599 you can get the 4060 model which performs 50% faster than this one under load and without all the fan noise.
