Musician's Friend has the Godin Session R-HT Pro Electric Guitar in Retro Orange price dropped to $917.24. Musician's Friend rewards members also earn 8% back in rewards towards a future purchase (free to join). Shipping is free.

Official spec sheet [godinguitars.com]

Note: My MF gear advisor was able to confirm that all remaining 3 guitars available are brand new from their warehouse and not floor/demo models from Guitar Center. Godin is ineligible for call-in deals, so this is likely the best price you can get.

Details:

The Godin Session R-HT PRO electric guitar features a double-cutaway basswood body for well-balanced tonality and a muscular midrange. The neck is made of hard maple for multidimensional, focused tone, and is paired with a rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets. The R-HT PRO's sound is driven by a trio of pickupsā€”a Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1b humbucker at the bridge, and two Lace Sensor Hot Gold single-coils at the middle and neck. Together, they provide a massive tonal range, from powerful and warm distortion to a bright, open sound for arpeggio playing. Additional appointments include an "acoustically tuned" matte finish and fixed bridge with through holes that allow the strings to vibrate more freely, improving both the sustain and natural resonance of the guitar.

Features:
  • Double-cutaway basswood body
  • Bolt-on hard maple neck
  • Rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets
  • Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1b humbucker at the bridge, and two Lace Sensor Hot Gold single-coils at the middle and neck
  • Made in Canada

I've got the Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1b in my guitar--I really like it and I find it very versatile. Great for blues, AC/DC, Guns N Roses, and even Megadeth Holy Wars and heavier rock.
