I have corded Sennheiser HD 599 headphones, which are super comfortable. But the design of these is a HUGE miss. I tried them out in the store, the ear opening is really small, so even though these are supposed to be around-ear headphones, for many they won't fit properly around the ear, which negatively impacts sound and ANC. Even if they do fit, they'll be uncomfortable as your ears rub against the earpad. This issue has been noted in nearly every professional review. Unless you have very small ears, avoid these.

The Anker Q45 is on sale for $10 more for Prime Big Deal Days. I have them, they are massively more comfortable, and also have much better ANC. Rtings comparison: https://www.rtings.com/headphones...0#test_423

Sony's ANC universally wins over Bose.

Having had both, Bose ANC is a 5/10 and Sony's is 8/10. Bose will not block out train noises per my personal experience. Bose will also not block out plane noises for me.

These headphones suck. The 1more bluetooth headphones are way better, same price usually, no alexa but better

Any other suggestion for a good headset with microphone for work? This one has bad review on mic. And most other work headset I found is not comfy for ears.

Yeah. I have these and they are not good for zoom calls, they decided that ambient sound has to be on at all times. This means that any typing or other noises around you gets amplified into your ears.

For music they are pretty good.

I am a big fan of the Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT2. I went from the wired to the BT version 1 (mic sucks) to these and version 2 has good mic. Mic not stellar like a boom in front of your mouth like a sennheiser SC-60 but works well enough for calls and zoom etc.

My friend bought these and we agree that the stock ear pads stink. He fixed his pair by buying some large earcups from BrainWavz. He went from being able to wear these for about 30 minutes to being able to wear them comfortably all day at the office.

Plantronics Voyager Focus 2. Had the same issues and thoughts with J2, and a coworker that uses speaker during our conference calls. Great deals on eBay since they're more a corporate brand. Got mine for $60

Is the flat design of the contact point hurt ears over like 6-8 hours of use? I always thought the cup design that cover the whole ear would give more comfort.
