    I believe this was somewhere around what I paid they originally came out before they hiked all their prices. Unfortunately my camera quit less than a year in and Govee couldn't have cared less. All I'm saying is be careful with Govee. I was heavily invested in their ecosystem especially their outdoor lights…. Those fail at a high rate because they don't openly disclose that only the lights themselves are weatherproof and not the plugs or controllers. I'm just saying be careful because you don't get what you expect from Govee and their customer service

    I have this and I love it. It's subtle when it's on, but I notice when it's off. We mostly just leave it set to extend the colors on the TV, but it's also cool to have it as a colored light when the TV is off. Definitely worth the price. Mine has been on and working for years.

    People bought alot of Govee in their first couple of years, just like them- I got some in my smart system because they were very cheap.

    But like others, it's very very cheaply made. They stop out of nowhere all the sudden.

    I've owned this for over a year. The tracking camera is "meh", but the light effects are nice. I happen to have a Sonos soundbar mounted to the botton of my TV, so I was able to put the camera at the bottom of the sound bar so it's not as obtrusive. I also don't like how you have to turn on the color sync when you want to use it. It's not automatic.

    If you can afford the upgraded model, it's a lot better. The camera is much more accurate, the LEDs are higher quality, and they fixed some of the bugs with the functionality.
