The pinnacle of Nintendo motion controls dreams and aspirations. It was so horrible I rage quit the final boss and immediately booted up Twilight Princess which was like being bathed in a cool spring breeze after being slowly roasted over coals in the desert.
Still haven't tried this version. Don't think I want to. The overworld was too barren, there was too much recycled content.
Played this updated version and I found it enjoyable and do not remember a bad control experience. It's definitely a game you have to play if you have played Breath of the Wild and tears of the kingdom

I agree. The controls were annoying. This version allegedly fixed that, right?

arguably the best dungeons in any Zelda game with some compelling side characters. Love this game. It's a must own. I'm NOT a fan of the art style however and the motion controls always seemed tacked on like most late stage Wii games which is a shame.
I enjoyed, but did not love, the Wii version when it came out. Played through this remaster last winter and loved it. I'd forgotten how good certain parts of it were. And, as I play Tears of the Dragon, I find myself missing quite a few elements of this game.
It gave you the option the control the sword with the right stick which some may prefer. I played through like that.
I dumped the game at launch because I didn't like the motion controls. Just finished the HD update and really enjoyed the dungeons and world, story was pretty good. The controls aren't great even with the updated option but I still enjoyed it.

It is a lot better on the Switch. Still kind of frustrating at times, you really have to focus in order to play it well. I constantly switched items accidentally, especially when I was caught off guard by an enemy.
If you are ordering this through GS, this is a fair warning. Your game might come with a beat up case or generic case. That's what happened to me when I ordered this game before as New during a different sale.
