After receiving the activation email, I've been exploring the courses and there are so many courses that are included which otherwise might cost hundreds of dollars each on edX. Got to allocate time every week to learn something, for sure.
Looks like a great freebie. Here's what it says when you complete the sign up process:

"You're In!
Congratulations, you're in! Look out for an email from edX with the steps to activate your specially-curated, free Verizon Skill Forward subscription within 1-2 business days. To make sure our email reaches you, add edX Support Team <[email protected]> to your contacts.

Get ready to enhance your skill set and embrace new high-demand abilities!"

I think a lot of us are used to just filling in whatever to get the freebie.

So many of these freebies you are basically trading your information for a freebie. A disposable email address and a throwaway TextNow or whatever phone number are the only things I give out now lol

https://partnerships.edx.org/verizon If it's not working you need to turn off your VPN or try another USA based VPN server. I was able to sign up but still no email with how to access. I hope the deal is not dead as I plan to make good use of it with some low income people in my area who are open to help.

edx has laid off a large amount of its workforce lately and the parent company is hemmorhaging money.
It may not be around in a year, and they will surely sell off all their data to anyone who is willing to pay for it.

The phrase "specially curated" hints that much of the desired content might not be available through this free offer.
