These run small in my opinion. Not too small but if you're normally a large, they'll be a snug large and a medium will be hard to get into.

These gloves are softer cloth which is comfortable and great for regular tasks but they don't hold up to high abrasion and will get holes in them if you're digging your fingers into gravel or otherwise being really rough.

Have a pair of these for use every time I move. No getting splinters from MDF or whatever.

These are the jam. I'd order before they take 'em off S&S.

How do these fit? I find myself usually in-between Land XL.

No, they're not warm at all.

I find most work gloves to run too long in the fingers and narrow in palm. According to Mechanix chart, I am a S in finger length and a L/XL in palm. Meaning every glove I ever bought either crushes my hand, or I have zero fine control with floppy tips. I need a "meaty hands" variety of gloves! I wish someone made that...

Absolutely not. These are for protection while working with your hands, not warmth. Their SpeedKnit variety is actually decently warm for working in colder weather, however. They are a little longer too, covering the wrist part way up the forearm. I wouldn't say they are a "winter glove" though, either

Sounds like you need a tailor to handle your 'unique' qualities, probably more than 8 bucks for that though. Could just get large then snip the fingers off?

These gloves fit great for us 'standard issue' basic folks.

I've considered, but yeah, you're looking at hundreds of dollars at that point. I want the $8! Haha. I could snip the fingers off and re-sew them, but that's a whole extra skill I don't really have, and the stitches would be garbage, probably fall apart the first time I have to use a breaker bar.

Won't someone think of the meat-handed?!

Hows it against water? Will it weep through if I roll up something as simple as garden hoses?
