Lowest price for this lock. Can't re-key to my understanding but if you have the Aqara system, seems like a great buy!

I have one for a few weeks and only really use it for its home key with my phone and watch. It's awesome so far

This is only the lock portion. I bought a closet (no lock) bronze straight Schlage for underneath so my wife couldn't lock me out where there was a traditional handle with lock on it.

If you have an iPhone or Apple Watch you can unlock with just touching them to the lock and it's super easy. When I go for a run I don't need anything and it's super easy to get in. My wife loves it

How do generic tuya-zigbee locks compare to this? Those cost much less. This is a Xiaomi chinese brand so not by much?

i'm not trying to hate on aqara but every like 3 weeks the lock will randomly go offline and be unresponsive to all unlock attempts.if i didn't have a key i would have been locked out. the only way was to remove the battery and reinsert it. They issued an update to help me fix it but the issue still persisted and i gave up.

It uses a smaller key bolt than a traditional deadbolt. However, you can get copies made of the key and with this lock I've never used the key. Wife and daughter both just use HomeKey on their Apple Watches. Best smart lock I've owned.

I bought this lock back on Prime Day and haven't had any issues. Definitely check for firmware updates after installation and would recommend keeping an Aqara hub nearby. I have an Aqara E1 hub about 10 feet away and it's been flawless on HomeKit. You need the Aqara hub to update the firmware.
