Yea i'm sure BF to Xmas time you will see a deal with free shifter at some point...For those that missed out, I wouldn't worry about it. I have gotten pretty much every gen of these wheels (g25, g27, g29) with shifter for $200 or less at some pt.

Wow this is a great deal. I bought this when PSVR2 came out to go with GT7. I did a lot of research, and there's a lot of comp from Thrustmaster products. In the end, I wanted a shifter, and Logitech's is $50 vs TM's $170. TM's equivalent (T300 RS) has more torque and the wheel feels more realistic, but Logitech's brake pedal is more solid and feels more realistic, along with the Force Feedback, which some say is a gimmick but I like it. Some say the T300 is better but so far what I've seen, it comes down to preference, and the noise complaints for the G923 haven't bothered me. For an affordable wheel + pedal + shifter set up, it works well for me and esp in VR. I can feel really realistic when you go off-road. This set up satisfies my racing needs and saves me money b/c now I don't feel like I need a sports car and spend money on the track, I can just race in VR with all sorts of different cars.

These gear drives make obnoxiously loud Click Clack noises.

Really wish they would put their pro level wheel and pedals on sale. Also it would be nice if they'd release a higher quality shifter.

Thanks, it's been awesome so far (three days), but I also have nothing to compare it to.

I also purchased the new thrustmaster TH8S shifter which is a lot of fun.

The TMX doesn't have a clutch, but I get enough of that in my real life car that it honestly doesn't bother me.

Option to upgrade pedals down the line if I change my mind.

How did you get the free shifter? Does it only come for free with the G923?

For anyone debating this or the 920... I have both the 923 and the 920 and the 923 is worth the extra $50 IMO just for the rev indicator. I'm not a hardcore sim driver, but raced many hours in sims when I was in high school (in the late 90s-- I had to DIY race and flight sim controls, which lead to a side gig that's been going ever since), now just Assetto Corza and Dirt Rally 2. The 923 is noticeably better, but both are good. My buddy has a Fanatec and that's way nicer but not worth it for the amount of driving I do (few hours a week during winter).

Site is glitchy AF. Going in and out of stock. Adds shifter automatically for $0. Price already reduced to $254 before tax w.o applying any coupon, try to check out and empties cart...

I saw this as a repost somewhere else... but I was able to stack the welcome 15% off with a different 15% code.. then chose expedited shipping ($8 dollars but was credited back at the checkout screen). Then, to my surprise, Logitech threw in the Shifter for free! Total after tax was $247
