You are lucky to get a year. We received 4 in a row that wouldn't even power on. They would purposely send out scooters they knew didn't work until the 90 warranty ran out.

Had one that lasted a year and was used very lightly. Won't buy this brand again. Their customer service was horrific.

$25-45 Razor A5 with rubber wheels will last longer, 240 lb capacity, much lighter. Good for 2-5 mile trips without battery

9 Mile range is nothing, real world would be 7. I got Refurb Segway claiming 15 but Max I get is 12-13 miles but I'm happy since its great on incline, way better than Hover.
