I missed the last deal, and couldn't wait. I bought this same package from Home Depot on 9/28/23 for $768 with shipping included plus tax. I was using it today. This deal looks good, and it's a great saw. I used it today to break down some 3/4 plywood. I'm getting used to it. Moderately intuitive. I highly recommend the Besey 6 in. Track Saw and Table Clamp. Festool has the same clamps but with a premium because Festool. Also, the TSO GRS-16 PE Parallel Edge Guide Rail Square works with the Milwaukee as it's the same form factor as Festool/Makita/Powertec/Triton. Lastly, The Wittwork 3D printer cover increases dust extraction.
Just some suggestions because I really like the saw so far.
I'm a fan of milwaukee and all but my corded setup saw with track only set me back $79 total. Is it really worth $500 more for wireless?
Good arguments for corded obviously. When using it, you generally wantdust extraction. An advantage on cordless, taking it to home Depot and ripping down 4x8 sheets in the parking lot.
I have this saw kit.. ( minus the track ) I already owned a Cordless Festool and had plenty of track. The Milwaukee is lighter than the Festool primarily because of the Single Battery… Festool uses two… The key in my opinion is a Sharp Blade… gotta keep your blade sharp for clean efficient cuts. I recommend the Milwaukee over the Festool.
Btw… you can get " Tool only " for $400.00 off eBay… no box … the box that comes with the kit is HUGE imho and takes up way too much space in my truck… so I built my own box. Just my two cents

already have a table saw. Is it still necessary to have the track saw?
I actually use mine for Multiple reasons.. I install cabinets for a living and will use my track saw to cut the slope on the bottom of a cabinet if needed for sloping floors or height adjustments. I also use it to cut tapered fillers as rarely are walls plumb.
So I got the kit without the 55 rail and blade. Is the blade an extra or does the "kit" really not come with a blade? I can't find specifics on the site.

I ordered the same one. Second or third slide all the way at bottom it says includes the blade
