Ideal for use as an AP behind a Mikrotik. Then CPU speed is irrelevant

I looked into this when their was a major clearance on the higher end units directly from Linksys, for this price it seems like a cheap way to get a semi decent mesh to cover a lot of sq footage. From my initial research, cause I did not end up buying it, the firmware was a little buggy and the speeds were just average at best, good for internet speeds around 500-700Mbps. Linksys no longer excels in anything routers, but their switches still pretty solid.

Not comparable this is a newer standard so speeds will more than double, the range depending on the router you have compared to this is the only question since its only a 2x2 antenna design might not be the greatest range from one unit.

In the Q&A, Can I connect a USB storage device to the router and manage it as an FTP server or media server? No. This is not supported.

Well what good is it for then? haha. Hope it at least can do samba shares. I'll pass on this.
