Snagged the "Ninja Foodi 9-in-1 Digital AirFry Oven, Scratch & Dent" (FT102CO) from Woot last time it went on sale. 112 days in, and on it's third use as an air fryer, and the top-front quartz glass shattered all on it's own (just from normal use.) Zero warranty options from Ninja upon calling, won't even send me a part. Buyer beware these Ninja units, there's a reason they have a constant flow of refurbished units going on sale every few months...

I bought mine refurbished last July. Looked brand new when I got it, showed no signs of ever being used. I have used it almost daily, sometimes multiple times a day and I have had zero issues with it. I think I paid around $60 for it so even if it died tomorrow, I got my money's worth. .
Great prices, but the 90 Day Warranty is a deal killer. Better to spend 2x as much and get at least a 1 year warranty plus an extra 1-2 years with certain credit cards.

You could tell on my unit that the coloring of the broken tube was different than the other quartz tubes on the top (less clear, more off-white.) That, and some scratching inside the unit, were the only signs that mine wasn't brand new.

I was considering buying one of these a couple of weeks ago when it was first posted. I went to Amazon first to read reviews and I read another person said the same thing about the glass shattering on a brand new item so I decided not to take a risk with scratched and dented.

Number Rule 1 of 90 Day Refurbish is use almost everyday or at least once a week. You can usually catch things within the 5th use and shakedown test.
These ninja ovens are well built compared to other air fry ovens. I have two DT109 that get used daily for over a year from Kohls for $160. It probably gonna last 3-5 years or more of daily abuse outside.

I had 90 day Dell Used B Refurb, i had to return on 3th use cuz keyboard had stuck keys.

Overall New A grade Refurbished out 100% amazing like $45 Instapot

Just get it, use daily or a few times a week to catch anything wrong. 90 days is a alot of time to test drive. Beats the 30 day tiny returns window

The DT and SP series have been durable and stainless steel. My family abuses the heck out of it.

Anything else from Ninja i avoid. Too plastic and non stick yuck.

Sorry to hear you've been having so much problem with yours. I bought the same but "refurbished" about a year ago. Looked brand new, all the protective cardboard, taped shut, all the plastic protectors on it. Checked inside and out, can't see how it's "refubished" when it has not even been used once, or really even unpacked. No issues with it and it is in daily use about a year now. Hopefully you'll have better luck with another one ?
